A portion of proceeds will be shared directly with the artists, forging a new ecosystem of co-creation where Japanese craftsmanship, artistic expression, and the spirit of every wearer come together in powerful harmony.

Meet Amanda,
The Artist Painting Ambition.
Our first featured artist is Amanda, who grew up in Hong Kong and now creates from her base in Singapore.
This collaboration began when kay me founder Junko encountered one of Amanda’s paintings at a clinic in Singapore.
Moved by the artwork’s profound healing presence and quiet strength, Junko felt an instant connection—sparking the beginning of this creative journey.
“Womanhood” (癒し)

Amanda Lim
Based in Singapore, this artist rekindled her passion for painting during the quiet of lockdown. Her abstract oil paintings express the emotional tension we carry suspended between the noise of modern life and the calm we seek within through layered, intuitive brushwork.
Her canvases are a dialogue between control and spontaneity, memory and the present, unfolding in rich, textured strokes that deeply resonate with the soul. More than visual art, her work becomes a medium for emotional restoration blurring the lines between art and everyday life, and gently guiding us back to inner peace.

Since its founding in 2011, kay me has embraced the mission of supporting individuals who take on challenges. We design clothing that allows busy women to instantly feel radiant and step forward with confidence. As a founder and entrepreneur, I too have faced moments of doubt and countless obstacles. In those times, the art I encountered around the world gave me courage and comfort.
Art is a form of expression that weaves together the creator’s history, culture, and individuality.It speaks beyond words, stirring the heart and reigniting one’s inner fire.This spirit has always been woven into our textiles.And now, to carry that vision even further, we are launching the “Be the Art, Be the Ambition.” project a collaboration between emerging artists from around the world and the exceptional craftsmanship of Japan.The world is filled with untapped creative talent.
